Vintage flatware storage chest - display cabinet with glass front - store and display your silverware! This chest stands 19 inches tall, 14 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches deep. It has a glass door and drawer in the bottom. The chest holds a service for 12 or 24 depending on how many pieces you have in a place setting. The knife tray for 12 slides out to reveal more knife storage underneath (see image). The top tray holds 9 inch and longer knives and the tray underneath holds knives up to 8 1/2 inches long. The slots at the top of the cabinet hold a total of 48 pieces with 24 slots in the trays below and a pull-out drawer for extras or for serving pieces. So the main cabinet area holds 72 pieces and there's extra space in the drawer at the bottom of the chest.
The back of the flatware chest has a paper label marked "Kirk Pewter Flatware" and is a great way to display your pewter. This chest can also be used for sterling silver or silverplate as shown. Condition is very good-excellent. Flatware not included in sale of chest.
