This silverplated crumb set was made by Victor Silver Co. (a division of Derby Silver Co.) The crumb knife measures 10.25" long and the tray is 8.5" x 7". Please see the additional images. These pieces feature in high relief a lady with flowing hair along with flower and leaves.
These pieces were replated in recent years and both are in excellent condition. Marked "Victor Silver Co. Quadruple Plate".
Table crumbers appeared in America in the mid-1800s and were used to remove crumbs from the table. Adding 19th century servers to your table makes an elegant and dramatic setting and the crumber should not be overlooked for completing your dining ritual.
